DO:

• IMMEDIATELY STOP the meeting
• CLEARLY STATE: "If there is any chance that future disciplinary action could result from this meeting. I want my IRCEA representative to be present before the meeting continues."
• CONTACT your IRCEA building representative.
• DOCUMENT AND RECORD MEETING IN WRITING or ON AUDIO TAPE!
  

 

DO NOT:

• Discuss the situation with the principal, administration, other teachers, parents, students, or the press.
• RESIGN!
• SIGN ANYTHING!
